Thiagarajan M, the Managing Director of Blue Star said they have special schemes with ICICI Bank and Axis banks for a loan amount of up to Rs. 2 lakhs for the MSME sector. Any MSME or SME interested in taking advantage of it only needs to go to the banks to access more on it.
The company has been having backward links with the MSME sector and in response to the Atmanirbhar Bharat call they will be participating in the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. The PLI scheme is being finalised with the final shape being provided internally and implementation will be happening in stages.
Thiagrajan said, “The MSME segment is the company’s backbone and PLI will be implemented in all the Blue Star manufacturing units be it Himachal Pradesh or Uttaranchal.
He also touched upon the importance of Blue Star in the storage of Covid-19 vaccines and how seven out of ten storage units are being provided by them.
Thiagrajan shared these details during a virtual press conference for the company’s launch of a new range of affordable split ACs aimed at the mass market.
The new range of ACs they aim to broaden their market. The company said, “To meet the changing and diverse needs of consumers, the company now offers products at different price points. With five state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and one of the best AHRI-certified R&D facilities in India, and the largest talent pool of engineers, the company has been able to incorporate cutting-edge technology into many of its new products.”
